Brand Mortgage, a subsidiary of The Brand Banking Company, has increased its presence in South Carolina by opening a retail office here in Lexington. The office is located at 5080-C Sunset Blvd. in the McCauley Square shopping center, across from Target. Branch Manager and AVP Charlie Sides, who will oversee the Midlands operation, said ''Brand Mortgage is a high growth company that values customer service and strives to provide our clients with a 5-Star experience.''
The company now employs over 200 people, achieving a growth rate of about 200% since January 2009. President Greg Shumate attributes the growth to being part of a forward thinking community bank, saying ''Having the backing of The Brand Banking Company with a strong and reliable funding stream has been essential to our success.'' Since 1905, Brand Bank has been committed to providing common-sense lending in our community. Brand Mortgage is a full service lender, offering a suite of mortgage financing options including FHA, VA, USDA, Conventional, Jumbo, and Portfolio products. The company supports the community by providing community reinvestment programs offered by various county and state agencies.
Currently, Brand Mortgage provides residential mortgages in nine southeastern states including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.
